Small Bathroom Project
Small Bathroom in Polperro
The brief was to try and change the layout of this small bathroom so that it could accommodate a bath tub which the client could lay down in. The look was to be practical, timeless with a touch of something special. Before we could progress with any of this a severe damp problem had to be addressed. This I left to my talented partner, whilst I got on with the fun part.
We solved the layout problems by incorporating a corner bath, a small toilet as well as a small vanity unit. We choose a large sandy coloured tile to cover the majority of the wall this helped give the feeling of a more open space. To provide that something special we included some bronze luminescent mosaic tiles
above the vanity sink and above the toilet, this not only created that something special it also tied the area together. These neutral colours allows the client
to use whatever colour they choose to accessorize this practical as well as affordable way of easily transforming the overall look of the bathroom. In this instance we chose vibrant turquoise, which looks amazing.
Every project we undertake as its own challenges, which makes it so rewarding when the client is happy, and the finished design looks amazing.
